1. Information and purposes
When you shop, place an order or contact us, the information involved includes your name, email, telephone number where provided, billing and delivery addresses, selected products, order and transaction references, payment status and correspondence. Messages and any photographs or videos you choose to send about an order are used to handle your enquiry or claim. Please do not send unnecessary identity documents, banking details or sensitive information.

We use the information needed to take steps you request before a purchase, fulfil your order, arrange delivery, communicate about it and administer cancellations, returns and refunds. These purposes rely on performing our contract with you. Required checkout fields identify information needed to process the purchase or delivery; without it, we may be unable to fulfil your order.

Records needed to meet applicable accounting, tax or other statutory duties are processed to comply with legal obligations. Handling enquiries, protecting the store against misuse and establishing or defending claims involve our legitimate interests in customer service, security and protecting legal rights, balanced against your rights.

2. Website services and optional features
The store is hosted on Wix. Wix supports the storefront, checkout, customer records, account features, forms and chat shown on the site. Information you submit through those features is processed to provide the service you request. Wix also processes technical information, including IP address, device, cookie and usage information, as described in its privacy information: https://www.wix.com/about/privacy.

If you choose to subscribe through our email form, your email and subscription preference are used for GLOWL marketing with your consent. You may withdraw that consent by using the unsubscribe option in a marketing email or contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing or necessary order messages.

Cookies and similar technologies support website operation and may involve additional purposes described by Wix or the relevant service. Browser settings can restrict or delete cookies, although this may affect site functions. This notice does not itself give consent to optional tracking or replace any consent required by law.

3. Payments and fulfilment
PayPal processes the payment information you submit to its service under its own privacy statement. GLOWL uses the resulting order, transaction and payment-status information to administer your purchase. PayPal privacy information: https://www.paypal.com/uk/legalhub/paypal/privacy-full.

Our connected fulfilment service is DSers, used with AliExpress suppliers. Order and delivery details necessary to source, dispatch and track your goods are shared through that fulfilment process with the relevant supplier and delivery providers. These include the recipient's name, delivery address, ordered items and contact details needed for delivery. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary for a legal claim. A supplier does not replace GLOWL as your customer-service contact.

4. International processing
GLOWL is operated from Brazil. Wix, PayPal, DSers and fulfilment providers operate internationally, so information may be processed outside the United Kingdom, including in Brazil and countries used for hosting, sourcing and delivery.

These provider statements do not mean that every recipient or country has identical legal protections. Contact us for further information about the recipients and transfer arrangements relevant to your order, including any applicable safeguards and how to obtain a copy.

5. Keeping information
Retention is determined by the purpose of the record: completing an order and after-sales obligations, handling an enquiry or dispute, applicable statutory record-keeping requirements and the establishment or defence of legal claims. There is no single period for every type of record. Marketing use depends on your subscription and consent; a limited record of an opt-out may be needed to respect it. You may ask about the retention criteria applicable to your information. Service providers also explain their own retention practices in their privacy information.

6. Your rights
Depending on the applicable law and circumstances, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a portable copy of your information. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests, and you may object to direct marketing at any time. You may withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Some records may need to be retained to meet legal obligations or deal with claims; we will explain any applicable limitation.

You may complain directly to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/; contacting GLOWL first is not a condition of that right. Rights available under other applicable data-protection laws are unaffected.
